Camperships and Financial Assistance |
Camperships and Financial Assistance programs have been established to make Camp Pendola more accessible to families of limited financial means. We are faithful to the premise that families applying for scholarship funding are in need of registration fee assistance. Please help us honor the wishes of our donors with honorable participation. To allow as many children from different families as possible, we ask that you contribute as much as you can toward the week for your child.
An application form must be completed and submitted by mail, email (scanned copy) or fax for consideration.
Financial Assistance is awarded up to a maximum of $200 per child. Requests will not be reviewed unless a completed camper registration form and $200 deposit are submitted on-line prior to the scholarship request application.
Campership requests will not be reviewed unless a completed camper registration online, a $200 per camper deposit and a copy of the latest Federal 1040 tax form are submitted on-line or by mail prior to or with this campership request application.
Camp Pendola is an equal opportunity provider of summer camp programs. Awards are made without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, disability or other legally protected status.
If a scholarship recipient must cancel, his/her scholarship cannot be applied to another camper’s tuition.
Award notification: If a camper’s application cannot be awarded as requested, the family will be notified within one week of review. Awards that are granted as requested, will be indicated on the statement that is mailed with the confirmation packet.
Respectfully, you child’s application will not be considered unless stated request procedures are followed.

- Applicants are eligible for Multi Week, Multi child and Recruit a New Camper Discounts if eligible.

- With the exception of the multi child discount, scholarships cannot be combined with any other discounts or financial assistance programs.
- Camperships are generally awarded for up to 60% of the session fee. (In 2023 $825 x 60% = $495 maximum award amount with the family responsibility of $330 per camper) Camperships covering more than 60% of the registration fee are occasionally awarded based upon funding availability and the discretion of the Camp Director.
- The criteria for awards are based on a combination of household income, number in the household, and eligibility for free or reduced lunch programs.
- Campership awards do not include the cost of transportation, or items from the Treasure Shack, the onsite camp store.
