PARKING LOT SAFETY:

Passenger Orientation – Campers will be instructed in the following safety procedures prior to departure:
- Passengers should remain seated at all times with hands and arms inside vehicle.

- Do not change seats.
- Face to the front of the vehicle at all times.
- There are two doors for evacuation in the bus – 1front and 1 rear.
- Keep personal gear on lap or under the seat to avoid blocking exits.
TO CHECK IN:
In Sacramento, check in will take place on the eastern edge of the parking lot right on Broadway, near the tennis courts. In Marysville, parking will be dependant upon availability due to the Mass schedule. Look for the Durham Transportation bus.
TO REGISTER:
Your camper is coming to camp, so please let the camper register. Camp is a growing experience and we ask that you let your camper check in with the counselors. As soon as everyone has checked in and gear is loaded, campers and staff will take off on the Pendola Express.
UPON ARRIVAL AT CAMP:
Campers will check in with our Health Services Manager, turn in any medications, and if necessary update any information on their Health History form. All medication (properly labeled and in the original container) and any special instructions should be relayed at this time.
DEPARTURE/PICK-UP INFORMATION:
Parents should plan on picking up their children in Marysville at 11 a.m. and in Sacramento at 12 noon on the day camp ends. Remember if you are car pooling, or someone other than a parent of legal guardian is picking up your child, we must have a written permission form. There is one provided in this confirmation packet.
If the bus will be late (5-30 minutes) in returning campers to Sacramento, the Pendola Office will be notified so waiting parents can be notified. If it is anticipated, the campers will be delayed more than 30 minutes, parents will be called, notified of the delay and given a new arrival time. |
